Scientific interests, facilities and publications
Our understanding on the Earth’s interior, its history and its dynamics relies essentially on our knowledge of the physical properties of the major rock-forming minerals in the deep Earth and on seismogenic activities observed from the surface. Therefore experimental measurements of various geophysical properties are crucial to interpret seismological data from the ‘real’ Earth in order to understand its complex nature and behavior in terms of composition, deformation and thermal structure.
